HI, I AM PLANNING ON INSTALLING THE VE7FMN HEAT SINK TO MY KX3. WILL THIS INVALIDATE MY KX3 S/N#4049 WARRANTY?

Russ,
I don't have the final word, but I don't think it would void the warranty. Unless of course, you do something foolish like defeat the overtemperature sensing and run it such as to destroy the finals even with the heat sink in place. BTW - upper and lower case please, it is much easier to read. We do not all have RTTY text trained eyes. 73, Don W3FPR On 4/15/2014 5:10 PM, Pakulski-K9VON Russ wrote: > HI, I AM PLANNING ON INSTALLING THE VE7FMN HEAT SINK TO MY KX3. As long as you do not damage the radio inside and take responsibility for any
scratches from the heatsink etc, the Warranty will still be honored. 73, Eric elecraft.com On 4/15/2014 2:10 PM, Pakulski-K9VON Russ wrote: > HI, I AM PLANNING ON INSTALLING THE VE7FMN HEAT SINK TO MY KX3. MR Schwartz.
Do you want me to bring one to SeaPac so you can see it in the flesh? Hi Fred,
Lisa and crew will be at Seapac this year as I'll be at Hamcom in Texas the following weekend. Do you have a picture you can send me? One minor correction, my last name is spelled in the less common manner as "Swartz". No problem on the mis-spelling, there are thousands ahead of you who have made the same mistake over the years. :-) 73, Eric elecraft.com On 4/15/2014 5:57 PM, Fred Meier wrote: > MR Schwartz. > Do you want me to bring one to SeaPac so you can see it in the flesh? > Cheers, Fred > ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [hidden email] |

I cheated on my driver's license and used the "F" :-)) I need to check and see if I have you correct on the NCCRA/Cactus roster. 73, Fred K6DGW - Northern California Contest Club - CU in the 2014 Cal QSO Party 4-5 Oct 2014 - www.cqp.org ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [hidden email] |
