I am new to my K2 , #4472, and would like to know if it is possible to
monitor my digital transmissions. On CW I can hear what I am sending, but not on PSK, rtty and Hell modes. Is that normal. Thanks in advance to all who respond. I monitor my digital transmissions through an audio out jack on my
rigblaster. Simply plug the computer speakers into the audio out jack on your interface and you should be able to hear the tones being generated by the computer. -- R. Hi Jerry,
I can't imagine running PSK without PSKmeter (http://www.ssiserver.com/info/pskmeter/). After reading about it in QST last February, I ordered and built the kit. PSKmeter is a essential one-trick-pony for PSK ops. Very neat. I have built and use 2 of them. There is also another product out there "IMD Meter" out there, but I have never seen or used one. I have a cable built up for a K2 to run digital wired for manual transmit
without the vox on, or with. Interfaces to the sound card inputs. I will be happy to send it to you free. All you need after that is one of the software programs to run the PSK, RTTY and so forth. If you cannot hear the computer or the receive, then just use a splitter for the input to the computer.
