January 15th 40 mtr net

Ric Guidone
Hi all.    I think that the call listed as VE1XL  Gary???  Is probably me.....VE3XL ...Ric  in Ont.      After hearing my broken call I tried to check in several more times but gave up at the bottom of the hour.

The new times are much better here, especially the 40 mtr one as I have to get up at  5:30 AM to go to work.

Very cold here lastnight and today at  -4 F (-20 C).   Will try to stay warm  hi hi.

73 to all

Ric  VE3XL

Hi Ric:

DEFINITELY MY BAD there!  I fat-fingered it and then, didn't even
consider stopping to look at what I'd copied!

I am sorry Ric,
The first call I wrote down was yours.  Then I got the VE1???  and then
a Gary so I wrote down VE1RGB.  Then I got the relay notes from Tom with
VE1XL.  Some odd cross between your call and Gary's :)  I am glad you have
a K1 again.  Were you able to repair the lightning damaged transceiver or
is this a new one?

Not as cold here but we had another inch and a half of snow this morning.
There is now two inches on the ground of very soggy snow.  It cannot
decide whether to rain or snow so it is doing both but leaning in the snow
direction.  Getting under my truck today will not be fun!

I think the new times are good too but don't fit my schedule like the old
ones did.  But then my schedule has changed a great deal over the last
month.  I'll adjust but will Sam, the cat?
    Until next week,
       Kevin.
