K1 problem

I am half-way through building my K1 #2222 and have hit a stumbling
block. How are trimmer caps C13 and C20 installed? On the revision E
board it is not obvious (to me) which way to orient the flat side.

I'm working on one too, and the flat sides are printed on the board  
but you have to look close and use some imagination. There are also  
photos of the boards finished in the back of the manual. There's also  
looking at the schematic and seeing what connects to what, and  
finally some have built K1's and put photos of the boards on the net,  
you can look for that kind of info. Hope this is helpful, 73 de Alex

Cool serial number!
I had the same problem. I looked them up in the parts placement
drawing at the back of the assembly manual and here I could clearly see
how they should be mounted. The flat side should face towards the back
of the PCB.
