K2 - Additional crystal filter

WOW --
The plots look fantastic.  I suspect that the large ground plane on the KSB2
board helps a lot too.  I may be trying to convince Elecraft to sell me a
couple bare KSB2 boards and try it here myself.

I would be interested in seeing some plots of the CW filters with this
pre-filter added.

Morning Stewart,

Many congratulations!!  And putting your added filter ahead of the Varicap
tuned filter must prevent the varicaps being affected by the sum of strong
signals from the post mixer amplifier, in a wide bandwidth.

Morning Geoff,

You must be an early bird like me, judging by the time on your mail.
Yes I had not considered the varicaps, but anything that cuts out the cr1p early
on must be good. Just had a mail re screening between filter caps, so if I have
some time today I will try that.
