For those who might be interested I have put details of an additional receiver

Stewart,
WOW -- The plots look fantastic. I suspect that the large ground plane on the KSB2 board helps a lot too. I may be trying to convince Elecraft to sell me a couple bare KSB2 boards and try it here myself. I would be interested in seeing some plots of the CW filters with this pre-filter added. 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > > For those who might be interested I have put details of an > additional receiver > filter for the K2 onto my web site - > http://homepages.nildram.co.uk/~baker/ > > 73 > > Stewart G3RXQ > > _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Morning Stewart,
Many congratulations!! And putting your added filter ahead of the Varicap tuned filter must prevent the varicaps being affected by the sum of strong signals from the post mixer amplifier, in a wide bandwidth. 73, Geoff. Morning Geoff,
You must be an early bird like me, judging by the time on your mail. Yes I had not considered the varicaps, but anything that cuts out the cr1p early on must be good. Just had a mail re screening between filter caps, so if I have some time today I will try that. 73 Stewart G3RXQ On Sun, 13 Mar 2005 06:47:20 -0000, Geoffrey Mackenzie-Kennedy wrote: > Morning Stewart, > > Many congratulations!!
