K2 & K3 Odd Couple?

Don Rasmussen
The list seems to have a new feel with the
introduction of the K3. In the past it has been
dominated by the QRP, kit builder, backpacking, tree
hugging crowd. Elecraft is in the process of bringing
contesters into the fold and that means onto the list.
Did you know they burn trees to power their kilowatts?
Hopefully everyone leaves room for the other's
perspective. ;-)

RE: Tree huggers? (K2 & K3 Odd Couple?)

Darwin, Keith
LOL, I guess you have a point!

The list has been dominated by CW fans probably more than anything.
What is more scary than adding contesters is adding SSB contesters.

SSB-QRO-SUV-contesters plus CW-QRP-kitbuilding-treehuggers in the same
room.  This ought to be fun :-)

The list ... In the past ... QRP, kit builder, backpacking, tree hugging
crowd.

Elecraft is in the process of bringing contesters into the fold and that

Now Don, what did you mother teach you about picking fights?  What does your
religion teach you about judging others? I think that most of us here are
probably still the QRP, kit builder, backpacking tree hugging crowd.

The real question is, "Do they talk back?"
