I have some problem with the filter settings in the KDSP2 module.
Is there a way to reset the the KDSP2 to its factory default values? G'morning Rolf:
I don't believe so. You will need to go to the manual and find the page(s) that list the original settings and then manually go through the settings menu and adjust them as necessary. 73, Ken K3IU ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TWC wrote: > I have some problem with the filter settings in the KDSP2 module. > Is there a way to reset the the KDSP2 to its factory default values? _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I hate that module. There is no reset, and once installed it is the
most unfriendly filter to use. In fact I pretty much put my K2 on the shelf after putting in the KDSP2. Just my 2 cents. I agree on this, that is if you have to change the settings of the NR.
For the AF filtering it's another case. After I set the AF filtering for CW and SSB, it's a joy to use. Another 2 cents... 73 Arie PA3A -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] Namens George Victor Verzonden: zaterdag 29 maart 2008 19:00 Aan: Ken K3IU CC: [hidden email]; TWC Onderwerp: Re: [Elecraft] K2 KDSP2 I hate that module. Hello,
Thank you to everyone who helped me along the way building my K2. I crossed the last hurddle today and got the KPA-100 up and running. I got it on the air and made my first contact with K0DT in Iowa. I was only pushing around 50 watts. I'm still a little nervous about the KPA-100. Happy to finally get the chance to put this little rig to work. FYI, you can input the original settings easily enough, but having a reset
method would be quicker. Perhaps there is one that someone can fill us in on. I have played with mine to get it to where it does what I want, and that is the beauty, to me, of the noise filter. I have other radios with DSP and whenever the noise filters are used they seem to do much worse than this one, because the KDSP2 timing can be adjusted. My 2 cents. 72, Bill K9YEQ K2 #35, K2 # 5279, KX1 #35, Mini Modules, etc. -----Original Message----- Subject: RE: [Elecraft] K2 KDSP2 I agree on this, that is if you have to change the settings of the NR.
