I just purchased a used K2 (s/n 4507). When It arrives, how can I tell
which mods and revisions have been installed? The easiest way, John, would be to ask the person you bought it from. If
it's s/n #4507 there won't be many (if any) official mods. 73 de David G4DMP In a recent message, John Reilly <[hidden email]> wrote ... >I just purchased a used K2 (s/n 4507). John,
SN 4507 incorporated all prior Elecraft changes in the original construction. Unless the previous owner has added some non-Elecraft modifications, the only possible changes would be the Keying Bandwidth Mod and the PLL Temperature stability mod. I suggest you download the instructions for those 2 mods from the Elecraft website so you can compare the boards on your K2 with the instructions for each of these two mods - if the parts mentioned in the mod instructions are not present, then the answer is easy - it is not installed. 73, Don W3FPR John Reilly wrote: > I just purchased a used K2 (s/n 4507).
