K2 Mojo: Last year's ARRL DX contest

To my surprise I received a certificate for 1st place CW QRP
for Illinois section in the mail this morning.
I was using my K2 at 5 watts with a G5RV.
I never checked the results.  HI
 
 I guess I better send in this years log.

Congratulations, Mike!

Absolutely!  And everyone else, send in your log!
You never know, you might be a certificate winner,
too!  And, even if you don't win your section,
you are showing the world that QRPers are a force
in DX contests, too.

If you kept your log electronically and can generate
a Cabrillo file, it doesn't even cost you anything
to send it in.  There's no down side!  Send it in!

Great going Mike!!

I'll vouch for the K2 mojo, but with the KPA100... Managed the #10 slot SOAB LP in ARRL DX CW.

The K2 is now configured more as a QRP mobile/portable rig. Watch for us QRP mobile in the WVQP and TnQP later this year.
