I'm assembling my new K2 (#4978) control board and have found a
substitute part for U1. Instead of the NE602 or the SA602, my kit has the SA612. The SA612 appears to be a slightly lower performance part than the SA602, but appears to be fully compatible. Am I correct in my assumption? _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Subscriber Info (Addr. Matt,
These are functionally identical in this application. We've used both interchangeably for years. 73, Wayne N6KR On Jun 4, 2005, at 7:48 PM, Matt Osborn wrote: > I'm assembling my new K2 (#4978) control board and have found a > substitute part for U1. Matt, As I know they SA612 has the same performance of NE602. I have
used the SA612 in some mounts with no difference. You can compare their characteristics and will see. My KX-1 kit also comes with the SA612. 72 de Al, XE1NK - EA1DLD Matt Osborn wrote: >I'm assembling my new K2 (#4978) control board and have found a >substitute part for U1. Thanks, Wayne.
The control board is completed, my eyes (ain't what they use to be) are shot, all resistance checks passed and K2 #4978 is underway. Thanks all for the help. My apologies Frank, instead of replying to this list, I replied directly to you (wasn't thinking). BTW, how *does* one respond to this list and maintain the thread order?
