Do the K2 dimensions (7.8 x 8.2 x 2.9) include the knobs, rear BNC connectors,
and rubber feet? Thanks, Daniel AA0NI _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. If you include the extremities plus finger dimple,
it is more like 10 inches front to back. > Do the K2 dimensions (7.8 x 8.2 x 2.9) include the knobs, rear BNC > connectors, > and rubber feet? > _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. No - approximate height of mine with feet is 3 3/8 plus a "tad" - total
about 3 7/16 allowing for the screw heads - width almost exactly 8 " (including screw heads) and (here is where it gets tricky) depth about 10 inches (+ or - depending on if you have finger dimple installed or not) from farthest front protrusion to farthest rear protrusion (end of bnc's) - if you have the KPA100, the SO-239 sticks out about as far as the BNC's - now if you plug in the key plug, power poles ( if you have the KPA100), KIO2 connector, etc, etc, there is more measuring to do! Bet that was more than you wanted to know! -- 73 -- Don N4HH ----- Original Message ----- From: "Daniel Reynolds" <[hidden email]> To: <[hidden email]> Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 9:49 AM Subject: [Elecraft] K2 dimensions > Do the K2 dimensions (7.8 x 8.2 x 2.9) include the knobs, rear BNC > connectors, > and rubber feet? > > Thanks, > Daniel AA0NI > > > _______________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Post to: [hidden email] > You must be a subscriber to post to the list. > Subscriber Info (Addr. There are something like 5500 K2s out there now, so if you stack them all together: 50 next to each other by 110 in height then this is a width of 10.2 m by 9.6 m in height. Sorry my head has been tuned to metric from the very beginning, but converting back this is 33.3 by 31.4 feet. Quite a stack! Congratulations to Elecraft, you must have done something right! 73 Sverre LA3ZA http://www.qslnet.de/la3za/ _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
