I've loved the QSK performance of my K2 and feel it is superior to the
several TenTec rigs I've owned. Could you be more specific as to what needs to be improved? Thanks! - Keith N1AS - - K2 5411.ssb.100 - -----Original Message----- From: DOUGLAS ZWIEBEL 1. Totally agree with you, especially the QSK.

I can't get above about 16WPM and hear clearly between the dits like I am
doing right now with my TS950SDX as I try to work BS7H. Better yet, when we rotate the offset, have it display, much as with the Power and Keyer Speed controls -- that way, you can dial it back to zero. This is a great idea. I personally don't see much use for XIT. I'd rather use SPLIT and put the Tx frequency in VFO B. I can just hold REV and hear my Tx frequency. Would be nice to be able to change the sidetone/offset without having
to manually re-align the BFO frequencies. Sometimes a high tone sounds good, sometimes low, depending on conditions. 73, Drew AF2Z _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I'm using two similar OP1 filter settings for weak SSB reception from my XV144 transverter. And you're right; sometimes the one provides better recognition than the other.
