K2 serial number

Tom B
Hello All,

I picked up a partially completed K2 from an SK sale.  I finished adding
the missing parts.
The serial number was never put on.  Is there a way to determine the
serial number?

Tom,

If you know the original purchaser (and to help, the approximate date of
purchase), the folks at Elecraft may be able to dig that out of their
files.  Send an email to [hidden email] to inquire.  A new serial
number sticker can be made for a nominal price ($1 or $2 if I recall).

Bryan,
I don't believe you can determine the original serial number without the
original packing slip/invoice. Alternatively, Elecraft -may- be able to look
it up, if you have the original owner's name and/or call sign. If you -can-
determine the serial number, a replacement sticker can be obtained from
Elecraft.
