Kind of suprising to me, but Wayne has seen Doug's
video and suggests that a newly delivered K3 might have the amount of button flex shown, and to consider it non harmful. So, the issue is now moved back here: http://www.zerobeat.net/mediawiki/index.php/Hardware_anomalies_that_are_considered_normal _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Probably not harmful, but it just seems that it would not look "first
rate" in a first rate rig. How much of a pain could it be to have a fix for this by providing something as simple as what Doug has done. Maybe in future boards there could be a hole placed in the FP board to match the one in the frame, and a non-conducting standoff and a couple of screws could be added to the kit. Would that be such a big deal? For the rest of us, a mod kit in K2 fashion.
