[K3] CW VOX stuck on, v1.99 and later.

Roy Morris-6
I have v.2.00 firmware installed, and I also find the CW VOX stuck on in the CW mode.  It is also stuck in QSK in CW mode.  SEMI is the same as QSK.  Roy Morris  W4WFB  K3 #323

RE: [K3] CW VOX stuck on, v2.0

Dick Hanson
I installed 2.0 last nite.
Dumb luck I guess, but everything is working fine here.
Can operate QSK, semi, vox or whatever; no sticking, no problems.

Problem exists here with 2.00 (I'm not gonna reload 1.99 to check it).
Everything all right *except* in CW mode when I shift from VOX to PTT.
In PTT mode with all known PTT inputs disconnected, keying in CW using
either the internal keyer or an external keyer, causes RF to appear at
the output connector.

Definitely a bug.

Round two on this.
After re-reading one earlier post and then looking at what Ken said, I am
going to modify my post.
I thot the problem was that the radio stayed keyed on. I did not/do not have
that problem.
My radio functions exactly as Ken described, which is to say that I have rf
out when keying.....with no PTT keyed.

While we're on this subject, I noticed that the delay for tx dropout
(assuming semi break-in/vox mode) changes from ssb to cw.
IOW, say you're on ssb and hit the key to reply to someone calling on cw,
the delay from tx back to rx is pretty short, and bears no resemblance to
what I dialed in on cw. I would have thot that the delays would be/could be
selected separately by mode and then stored in memory. Guess not.

Maybe there will be also chance to change KEY OUT behavior to be also
OFF when in CW PTT mode the Key is touched. Or select KEY OUT behavior
in menu somewhere.
But maybe this is not so easy, I know...
