I know someone in the US makes custom covers for radios, I even mailed about
a K3 one I thought the site was http://radiocovers.com/ But looking at the site, I'm not so sure - anyone able to help? -- Any fool can destroy trees. They cannot defend themselves or run away. And few destroyers of trees ever plant any; nor can planting avail much toward restoring our grand aboriginal giants. It took more than three thousand years to make some of the oldest of the Sequoias, trees that are still standing in perfect strength and beauty, waving and singing in the mighty forests of the Sierra. -John Muir, naturalist, explorer, and writer (1838-1914) _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Cover? What? You're going to cover it? How can you operate it when it's covered? I figure on getting my run 2 radio maybe by Christmas if I'm lucky and have it built the same day and then use it for at least several days! We aren't going to cover that radio ..... It probably won't get turned off long enough! /reality kinda back on -- --- If God intended you to be on single sideband, he would have given you only one nostril. - Steve, K2PTS (SK) --- _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. I just received a K3 cover I ordered from www.compucover.com. They make
covers in custom sizes. Not having my K3 yet, I guessed at the size from the dimensions in the FAQ. Wish I could confirm that it fits. Their price was $14.95 plus $12.00 shipping (I thought the shipping was a bit high, but the total cost seemed ok.) It took about 2 weeks.
