K3: Data modes without having to use audio line out?

I'm curious, since the K3 can decode data modes internally, is there a way
to pass that to a computer without having to use an audio connection?

I probably should have been more specific.  I'm aware of the terminal
functionality in the update utility.  What I didn't know is whether or not
it would be possible to get the same stream out to DM780 or similar program.

I'll play around with it a bit more, but thanks for the replies.

Sorry James. No it isn't. At the moment the stream of decoded
characters is sent mixed up with the replies to commands sent by the
programs like HRD, and would probably cause the programs to crash. So
what you are asking for isn't possible at the moment. Wayne has
promised a command that will allow programs to get the decoded text in
a controlled manner, but I don't think he has implemented it yet.

Yes, the K3 Utility includes a terminal page that does exactly this.
