Can anyone at Elecraft advise when the release of the next firmware upgrade will be and what features/fixes will be addressed?

Grab a copy of this, Gary.  It was issued prior to the next beta and K3
Utility release which I guess must be imminent.

That's not a reasonable question to ask of a business, especially a
software business.  Unless they on the verge of releasing it anyway, the
time will depend on when they think it is working well enough to be safe
to release to the public and they will want the option to drop features
that they are unable to get to work, or switch priorities to a new issue
that becomes a big problem, as well as to keep the competitors in the
dark as long as possible.

However much they caveat an answer by "but this may completely change",
a lot of people will take it as a commitment.
