No, you're not!

One of the consequences of this is that there is a selection of INRAD
filters available for the K3 even before it has been released.

We chose 8215.0 MHz as a first I.F. because it's low enough to allow
the construction of narrow crystal filters, yet high enough to provide
good image rejection in an HF-6 meter transceiver. INRAD also stocks a
variety of high-performance filters at this frequency, which made it
easier for us to do initial test. We tested our conversion scheme based
on this I.F. extensively and found that it's also excellent from the
standpoint of minimizing spurious responses.

I still have an FT-102, and it is an excellent receiver. Beats any of the other
Stuff I have tried (except for the K2). I have the narrow CW (roofing?) filter,
and it is a great CW rig EXCEPT it is not QSK.

Pretty great endorsement for a rig whose design is about 25 years old!

However, I don't think the FT-102 filters at 8.215 MHz are really "roofing
filters" in the sense that term is usually used.
