One of the consequences of this is that there is a selection of INRAD filters available for the K3 even before it has been released. -- 73, Vic, K2VCO Fresno CA http://www.qsl.net/k2vco _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. INRAD also stocks a variety of high-performance filters at this frequency, which made it easier for us to do initial test. We tested our conversion scheme based on this I.F. extensively and found that it's also excellent from the standpoint of minimizing spurious responses. 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Beats any of the other Stuff I have tried (except for the K2). I have the narrow CW (roofing?) filter, and it is a great CW rig EXCEPT it is not QSK. -- --- _ _ _ _ _ / \ / \ / \ / \ / \ John L. However, I don't think the FT-102 filters at 8.215 MHz are really "roofing filters" in the sense that term is usually used. 73 de Jim, N2EY ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
