K3 Kit vs. Factory - difference in delivery time?

Darwin, Keith
The Katie-gram for my factory built K3 said "Your order is scheduled to
ship in two to three weeks from confirmation...".

Is it the same "two to three weeks" for kits as well as factory rigs or
do kits have a shorter timeline from confirmation to shipping?

How long was it from Katie-gram to rig-in-hand for your K3?

I suspect that they don't assemble the factory built units until you verify that
you still want one, or that you now want a kit.  The time on the assembled
version might be due to that.

I could be wrong, but it makes sense to me...

Three days from Katie-gram to a box being handed in the door
in Michigan by the USPS rural mail lady.
