I really like the idea of adding the capability to the K3 that allows us to adjust the left and right channel volume. Then W4TV sed: It's already there. Please refer to the K3/K3S Owner's Manual and look up CONFG:SUB AF. But: The SUB AF setting does nothing for my K3, probably because it lacks a sub receiver. Is there an alternate suggestion? 73, Paul W8TM ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
You could run the K3 audio through your computer system and adjust the
balance in its sound mixer. Or install more sophisticated mixing software like VoiceMeeter which will give you a 15-band graphic equalizer and processing effects; also a handy way to record on air activity. 73, Drew AF2Z On 04/01/19 10:47, Paul Kirley wrote: > K9OM sed: > I really like the idea of adding the capability to the K3 that allows us > to adjust the left and right channel volume. > > Then W4TV sed: > It's already there. Yes, I use a pair of powered computer type speakers. Feed the two audio
outputs from the K3 which are on the SPEAKERS/STEREO jack to the L and R speaker respectfully. Adjust the volume on each speaker as you desire. The ones I use are from the defunct Radio Shack being a Realistic Cat 40-1313. These have the volume control on the front of each speaker. 73 Bob, K4TAX On 4/1/2019 9:47 AM, Paul Kirley wrote: > K9OM sed: > I really like the idea of adding the capability to the K3 that allows > us to adjust the left and right channel volume. > > Then W4TV sed: > It's already there.
