[K3] PDF manuals on iBooks

Hy to all, i put the Elecraft manuals pdf files in iBooks on my ipad but i'm not able to see images that are in the files. Anyone has any experience about solving this problem??

I have the same problem, but not with all the Elecraft manuals. I notice it with the P3 manual but not the K3 manual. It seems to be a problem with iBooks, as the images are fine in Adobe PDF reader.

Hy Ron, i agree with you. Nothing strange with the images,
but i can perfectly see the PDF files with all the images on
my pc and no images in the same file on iPad
Sure it's a problem of iBooks, and i'm searching for someone
if exists Who solved the bug!

I'm a novice in this area, so I just offer this up as a possibility.
Haven't tried downloading any of the Elecraft manuals into my IPad, but have
loaded public domain books from Gutenberg.  In reading about how to do this
I found that the EBF (electronic book format) strips all graphics and only
leaves words.  That is fine for what I wanted, but for a manual you would
certainly want the graphics.   Was there some kind of format choice when you
loaded the pdf manual into iBooks?   If so, selecting EBF isn't probably a
good choice.  I'm also interested in the answer to this as I also want to
eventually put my Elecraft manuals into my Ipad.

Solved the bug! It's a sorde code problem. iOS dose not support jpeg2000 compression mode used in many PDF files and perhaps alzo in elecraft mauals files ( didn't checked at the moment ). It seems, as i read on the web, to be good convert the compression mode of PDF file from jpeg2000 to' jpeg through one of the many software on the web. Easier on Mac, just open the file as a preview and save again it with different name.....people say it works.
