Quick question, is there an archive of the previous versions of the K3 firmware kept anywhere?

Bill (N2BC)
I am not sure how far I need to go back, the issue for me is that I have 2m and 70cm tranverters that were working fine, but I added an internal 2m module internally last week and upgraded the firmware. Net result is the K3 hangs at startup if an external transverter (70cm) is plugged into the aux bus. I will hold off on your offer and contact you when I work out what I need to go back to, I have lot of other things on the aux interface at the back of the K3 and will try to make a simple cable up in order to eliminate external hardware influences. Again my thanks for your offer, just might be back to you real soon! Roger VK3ADE. Trying to create an audio data cable for KX3.
In the diagram for the Microphone jack, there is Shield (sleeve), and Logic Ground (ring2). Which one of these is the audio (mic) ground ? Thank you, Adi M0THX ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

To all that have offered archived firmware my sincere thanks.
I am still determining if it still something I may have done before dropping back a version of two. Regards. I have the ZIP files for almost all firmware revisions going back to 2008. 73, Nick ve3ey On Jun 30, 2012, at 12:09 AM, Roger de Valle <[hidden email]> wrote: > Quick question, is there an archive of the previous versions of the K3 firmware kept anywhere? > > Regards. > > Roger VK3ADE ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

Try seeing if the problem exists when the 70 cm is powered up when you turn
on the K3 and when the 70 cm is off when you turn on the K3. Did you have a daisy chain of aux bus signals when you were using the external 2m transverter? 73, Guy.
