K3 Quick Split Operation?

AC6JA
I've been searching the archives and can't find any quick and easy way to
"UP 1" for Quick Split operation.
The only way I see doing it is hitting the A>B button, then hitting  SPLIT,
and dialing in the frequency 1 khz above the VFO A frequency into VFO B
using the VFO B knob.  Is there any easier way?
My Icom 756 ProIII has a way to go "UP 1" by holding the SPLIT button and
then hitting "1" and hitting SPLIT again.  Or hitting "2" to go up "2",  etc.
Maybe this is something that can be added in a future firmware  release?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

You can write a k3 macro for this. See the examples in K3Utility help.
There are several examples there.

You can do it with a macro.

But with XIT available, why bother?  Turn on XIT, dial up the split you want and there you are.  If you want to listen to your TX freq, press "RIT".

You can set the display for continuous readout of the offset in the "B" location by tapping "DISP" and setting the B knob to display the position between the date and the voltage.  You lose the "fast/integer" tuning capability of the offset knob by engaging this, however.

One of the Macros used as an example in the Programmers Reference does that for Up 2 :

SWT13;SWT13;FT1;UPB5;RT0;XT0;

You can modify that for Up 1:

SWT13;SWT13;FT1;UPB4;RT0;XT0;

I have them programmed on my PF1 and PF2 keys and use them all the time.
