[K3] Speaker magnetic shield sticky pad?

The magnetic shield is attached with a double sided sticky pad... I am
concerned the shield may become detached and fall into the rig. Sticky
pads don't have a good reputation for staying put.

Any thoughts guys?

Dave,

I don't know what your past experience with double sided foam pads have
been, but ---

If you have ever tried to remove the speaker shield from the speaker in
a KPA100, you would be convinced about the truly sticky nature of the
adhesive used on the Elecraft speaker shields - it is really good 'sicky
stuff!  I have no fears about it coming loose.
