K3 - Stand Alone Panadaptor

Joe Word
Has anyone developed a stand alone Panadaptor  without the need for a
computer? Is Elecraft considering this? The
stand alone unit would be something like Yaesu's DMU unit.

Oh my... that would be glorious!  I've been dying to have a standalone
spectrum scope that is computer-independent for some time.

Elecraft are keeping schtum about that, Trevor.  My guess is that they
are working on the panadapter and the KREF3-EXT external reference
option ready for launching at Dayton ;-0
