I've always used FSK D mode.
Since updating to 3.57 when I turn on the Sub Receiver the radio goes into AFSK A. How do I stop the SUB from changing FSK D to AFSK A? In the past the radio was always in FSK D and the SUB did not change this. I'm in VFO A and check DATA MD. It says FSK D. Turn on SUB and check DATA MD it now says AFSK A. Is it possible to use vfo B to set both the tx and rx freq? I've got an
idea about using the IF output for mult. searching, which would require using VFO B to set tx/rx using the sub rx. Alternately can I get to the IF output from the SUB RX? I've noticed the same sub-mode change in data modes but had not tracked it down to the subreceiver (I thought I had a bad macro in my logging software). However, now that Bud has posted this, I can confirm the (bad) behavior as due to turning on the subreceiver - even if I have tapped A -> B twice to set all parameters on both VFOs the same. . 73, ...
