My K3 is not transmitting. When I try to transmit, the red tx light comes on, but there is no forward or reflected power. I do not have any ERR messages. I am using the 2.8 MHZ filter for both transmit and receive.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Bill AA4MJ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
Run through the wattmeter and TX gain calibration steps and try again. I had

Have you accidentally enabled TEST mode (indicated by blinking TX on the LCD display)? 73, Bill |
This can also happen if TX INH is enabled in the menu and nothing is connected to the TX
INH accessory input. On 11/10/2011 11:34 AM, Bill W4ZV wrote: > > Bill Thompson wrote: >> >> My K3 is not transmitting. Have you tried power down/up ( the pc techs best friend ). What does your power output say when you rotate the PWR knob slightly? Good luck Joe K2UF No trees were harmed in the sending of this e-mail; however, many electrons were inconvenienced. -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Bill W4ZV Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2011 2:35 PM To: [hidden email] Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 Transmitter Bill Thompson wrote: > > My K3 is not transmitting.
