K3 VOX delay, BG command

I have been using my K3 remotely for several months now. Two requests regarding remote commands.

(1) There is no VOX delay command. Using Vox remotely, what is good for normal QSO talking is too slow for DX or Contesting. Would really like a software command to be able to change delay.

(2) BG command does not work on transmit. Thus no bargraph indication on transmit. Programmer's guide says this should indicate Power Output or ALC. Does neither. Needs fixing.

These may seem to be minor software problems, but they definitely affect the easy of remote operation of the K3.

Isn't the vox delay control (secondary function, not menu) what you want. This is
documented on page 14 of the latest edition of the user guide.

Yes, you are correct. But this requires being at the radio to turn the knob. I am running K3 remotely, and according to programmer's guide, there is no command to do this via software. John.

Hi John,

There's a new field-test firmware release that includes an updated BG
command. In transmit mode, BG now returns 00 - 12 (PWR) or 00 - 07
(ALC) depending on the METER selection.

A VOX set command is on my short list.
