K3 headphone audio question

Gordon LaPoint
Hi,
Is it possible to put the audio from the main RX to both Right and Left when the sub
RX is off, automatically, then switch back to split when sub RX is ON??

Thanks,
Gordon - N1MGO

Re: K3 headphone audio question

Hi Gordon,

It should already do that. When the Sub RX is off I hear the audio from the Main RX in both ears. When I turn the Sub RX on I hear the Main RX audio in the left ear and the Sub RX audio in the right ear, however, this can be varied by CONFIG:L-MIX-R.

If you have CONFIG:SPKR+PH set to YES it does affect what you hear in the headphones. It's best to turn this feature to NO when using headphones.

Is your speaker CONFIG:SPKRS   set to 1 or 2.   try setting to 2.   as
noted in Freds book even with SPKRS set to 1  you will hear main and sub
on left and right but wont give you both ears with just the main and
wont allow AFX.

FW: K3 headphone audio question

Cady, Fred
In reply to this post by Gordon LaPoint

If you have SPKRS=1 and SPKR+PH=yes, then with the SUB ON or OFF you get
audio (mixed for sub on) and main only (for sub off) in the left ear
only.
Other combinations of SPKRS, SPKR+PH and SUB should give you main in
left and sub in right (for SUB ON) and main in both for SUB OFF.
Cheers and 73,
