K3 macros

I keep staring at the triangular space below the K3, I have my mine up on
the bale. What a great place to have a row of programmable switches and an
extra set of controls for the sub receiver only. Imagine an AP3 (auxiliary
panel) add on.

You know what?  That is a really great idea!  What about an add on box that
gives a bank of programmable buttons?  Should be cheap enough to produce and
could give band stacking etc?  It would not have to just be for the sub but
could have tap for main, hold for sub etc?

Re: K3 macros

Iain MacDonnell - N6ML-2
Maybe it could plug into that "funny network" connector on the bottom
of the front panel ;)

An accessory that would fit beside the W2 and of the same height could be
interesting.
W2 width + New Accessory width = K3 width.
