K3 part number for microphone jack plug.

Frank Precissi
Hi all,

I inherited an old SSB desk mic.  The only problem is that it doesn't have
a plug on the end of the cable!

I've pounded my head against the wall searching on digikey for the mic plug
part number.  Does anyone have a part number (or anything close) that i can
use for a search?

Many thanks & 73,

Frank

Universal Radio has the plug, the part number is 2112. ( I think the
manufacturers part number it P-T700 ) . They are $3.99 each. Shipping is
$6.95 so try to find something else to by to make it less expensive.  I
just ordered 2 and 20 feet of  Heil microphone cable.

I believe it to be the standard 8-pin Foster connector used by most radio
manufacturers.

Radio Shack advertises their model number 274-025 for $4.49.

If you have a local store, you might avoid shipping charges.

Otherwise many of the mail order stores have them. Maybe free shipping.
Heil Sound makes a nice one:
