K3 second receiver install question

KD8NNU
I am thinking about purchasing and installing a sub-receiver for working
split and diversity.

When reading the installation guide there is a section called Checking
and Modifying Resistor R91 and DAC Input Circuits.  I have a 1 year old
K3 SN 4912 is it safe to assume that this is already incorporated in my
rig.    I dont solder real well and dont feel confortable with the idea
of cutting traces.

Thanks

Happy New Year

Don,

That note has been in the SubRX manual for a very long time - I am
looking at Rev. C dated October 16, 2008 - at that time there were K3
being shipped that already had the change.

So, there is a *very* high probability that your K3 already has the
change since it is only a year old.
BUT make the check anyway just to be certain.
