Hello friends,
so finally after several hours of real life with K3 there are some ideas (mainly concerning FW I hope). # CW pitch scaled by 10Hz not by 50Hz (it is personal feeling and suppose individual importance for EME/weak signal rx) # Transvertor offsets more then +-9,99kHz I have some problems to fit my 24GHz chain (28 - 435 - 24048) to +-50kHz so will be useful if there will be chance for more then +-9,99 # separate LOCK for VFO B (just idea to prevent unwanted change) # General LOCK for all "knobs" (if somewhere - sorry, not found) so I mean several LOCK levels - A only/B only/A+B/ALL # well known Auto-CW (only to be listed here...) Now back to fitting my 144MHz transvertor to 1mW output :-) 73! Also,
A finer frequency resolution for AM mode (or if there's a way to do it, I haven't found it, and I've already tried adjusting the config settings for tuning). The choices for 'coarse' are currently: 10.0KHz, 9.0KHZ, and 5.0 KHz. Need to add 1.0 KHz capability for 'coarse' ... 5.0KHz is still to 'coarse' for comfortable use. Tnx, Bill (AG4SI) |

Please put your inputs concerning K3 "Wish-list" also to forum at zerobeat
http://www.zerobeat.net/smf/index.php/board,25.0.html (hope no registration is needed for looking into this thread, but registration on forum is very simple and you can add comment or own new input) I suppose it is better to keep them (wishes) on forum with possibility of comments per-item and like in one box... I do not know better place so this suggestion is based only on my limitted knowledge...:-) 73!
