K3 switch macro ideas?

wayne burdick
Administrator
Anyone care to scan the entire Programmer's Reference and suggest some
new macros we haven't thought of? The only rule is that it has to be
useful :)

Here's the latest update:

   http://www.elecraft.com/manual/K3_Pgmr%27s_Ref_Rev_C6.pdf

We're getting very close to a beta release, so you'll be able to put
your ideas to the test.

Re: [Elecraft_K3] K3 switch macro ideas?

I'd like to be able to turn on the monitor without having to adjust
the monitor level up then down when I'm finished.  When I forget and
leave the monitor level at say 27 and push hold the monitor control I
get feedback from the speaker when I transmit in SSB mode, requiring
me to go back and set level to zero.

Here's one I've not seen yet.  It's a DSB setup I use for listening to
AM SW broadcasts.

SWT13;SWT13;SB1;MD1;MD$2;LN1;BW0400;BW$0400;

Thats

A>B
A>B
Sub RX ON
Main RX mode LSB
Sub RX mode USB
Link main/sub VFOs
Main RX Width 4 kHz
Sub RX Width 4 kHz

I haven't found a way to ensure that both main & sub RX are on the
same antenna. Does such a command exist?
