KAT500 production firmware version updated to 1.41

KAT500 firmware version 1.41 has been upgraded from Beta to Production.  The
updated features and link are here:
http://www.elecraft.com/KAT500/kat500_software.htm

 

Be sure to upgrade your KAT500 Utility version as indicated.

I downloaded the latest Utility but the 1.41 FW version is not in the Production Folder.  It still has 1.32.

My mistake.  I thought it had been promoted to production, and it has not as
yet.

I'd use my browser to copy the two files to a local folder and point the KAT500 Utility to that folder.

Has the firmware been corrected to enable manual selection of tuning
parameters, via the utility, and then saving those values for later use
during auto operation?

I did, copied both files to a directory I named "KAT500fw0141"...pointed to it, works fine, looks like the ones the zip versions did.

Between us, the problem is that we've boxed a number of kits with 1.32 installed and our practice is not to ship kits with back level firmware. That's all that's holding it up. 1.41 is fine.
