Perhaps it could be temperature. About a year ago, whilst experimenting in
connection with another problem, I found that if I cooled my KPA500 down to
13C (about 55F) by leaving it overnight in an unheated part of the house and
then re-installed it into the shack, at switch-on the display lit up blank,
no relays clicked when a band button was pressed and there was no output but
if I waited for 10 minutes or so until the amp temp rose to about 18C
everything worked normally again. However, I never had a DISPLAY FAULT
message.

The display just went blank, after a previous power on a few days ago, that
read DISPLAY FAULT or something close to that. It has been working fine
until now, what could be causing this? I have the AUXBUS connected to the
K3, and just re-downloaded the latest software for both the K3 and the
KPA500. Seems to be switching bands ok, but..wow it just now started
displaying again. What could be causing this?
