It is *Finally* here; the KRC2 Configuration Band Mapping program.
And best of all, it's a free download off our website! Go to http://www.elecraft.com/software/elecraft_software_page.htm or go to our Elecraft website, click on "Software" on the leftside menu, then select "KRC2 Config Software". With this program you can easily set any band on your K2 to activate any or all outputs on the KRC2. You can save up to three bandmaps for easy recall during contests or casual operation. For those of you with rigs that use DC voltage outputs to indicate the band they are on, we have voltage tables that can be set to read the voltages. You can even set your XV transverters to whatever output you desire. Please note this is a BETA version of the program, and your feedback is welcome and encouraged. -- 73, Brian Broggie - W6FVI Elecraft Support _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Also note that the KRC2 can decode HF band data for most other
YeasuIcomKenwood etc rigs out there too. It makes an excellent automatic antenna switch driver or complex XV/uWave system switching controller! Brian - Thanks for taking this on! 73, Eric WA6HHQ Elecraft Brian Broggie wrote: > It is *Finally* here; the KRC2 Configuration Band Mapping program. > > And best of all, it's a free download off our website! > > Go to http://www.elecraft.com/software/elecraft_software_page.htm > or go to our Elecraft website, click on "Software" on the leftside menu, > then select "KRC2 Config Software". > > With this program you can easily set any band on your K2 to activate > any or all outputs on the KRC2. Excellent news!
When can we expect the Linux version? Can the KRC2 be set to activate a source terminal on application of the K2's TUNE function? Can the KRC2 be set to toggle a source terminal in sync with the K2's ANT 1/2 function? This would allow external antenna control relays to be switched in sync with the ANT 1/2 function on the K2. Also it would be great if the K2 would enable the ANT 1/2 function without a KAT2/KAT100, but with the KRC2 connected, to allow the K2's ANT 1/2 switch to control an external antenna relay.
