I have just inventoried my KRX3 box preparatory to installing it into the K3. All the items on the inventory appear to be as needed, except in the D850334 "KRX3 Hardware Bag". I do not have anything labeled E850324, "Foam Pads". >From the photo, this appears to include two foam strips. What I have instead is an envelope labeled as E980148, which contains one foam strip. Am I headed for a delay, or is only one pad required? 73, Jeff K8ND _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [hidden email] You must be a subscriber to post to the list. Hi Jeff, others ...
Only one foam strip in my kit, and it works fine. Just stick it across the center of the rear of the speaker's magnet. 73! Jeff,
I had the same. I cut the strip in two, lengthwise --> et presto - two strips. 73 Arie PA3A --------------- What I have instead is an envelope labeled as E980148, which contains one foam strip. I have the Speaker Pad #E980148 but it is a circular foam
pad.
My main RF Board also has a red sticker with a couple
X's
pasted between the FL1 and FL2 slot. Anyone else
have this??
I worry about red stickers with X's.
Happy New Year.

Hi Bob,
I had the same thing on my KRX3 board. The KRX3 works fine
so didn't think too much about it. But it made me pause before installing it.
One "X" is bad but "XX" ??? :-)
