Our sign-up form for new KX3 information, ordering notification etc., is
now on the Elecraft web server. See: http://www.elecraft.com/KX3/kx3signup.htm We'll have the KX3 data sheet and other info up later tomorrow, along with a link from our main page to this form. 73, Eric WA6HHQ www.elecraft.com -- _..._ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
Just had a chance to try this before I go away for a few days. I don't know if there is a confirmation to prevent anyone putting anyone's email in this form, otherwise you might be in trouble if the spammers find it. But when I tried to submit my data I got: "Form Submission Aborted. You're hostname cannot be resolved from 89.241.2.124."

Odd - I'm seeing a lot of entries come in fine. The host resolution is
part of the anti-spammer protection. Give it another try. 73, Eric (About to go to bed... zzzz) On 5/25/2011 10:30 PM, Julian, G4ILO wrote: > Just had a chance to try this before I go away for a few days. I'll check with our ISP when I get into the office later this morning to see why this is happening. It only seems to be impacting a few addresses - I see hundreds of good entries received so far from the U.S., Europe and other areas.

Eric,
I tried 3-4 times to sign up but got the error massage the same as others on the list. I wonder if we actually did get through but got the error message by default! The cgi script that handles the form and provides the error message is
supplied by our ISP. ( I spell better than that, most of the time! ;-) We'll be contacting their support group today. If the form fails, please email us directly with the following format: To: [hidden email] Subject: KX3 Info Request Inside the email, please just include the following info and format: NAME = Your Name CALL = your Call EMAIL_ADDRESS = [hidden email] I can't enter info manually, due to the large volume of requests. 73, Eric WA6HHQ ---- On 5/26/2011 6:16 AM, David Lankshear wrote: > I signed up and it failed my application, complete with the grammatical > error of You're instead of Your. > > Maybe they don't like foreigners from other than the bottom 48? > > 73 Dave Lankshear, G3TJP > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[hidden email] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |
