KX3 config menu question

[W8ZN]

Does anyone know if the KX3 will have the same TX INH config setting as the K3 has in the future? I see no reference to it in the owners manual.

Terry,

It is possible that Wayne can add that function to the GPIO signal on
the ACC2 connector.  The list of available functions for that pin has
not yet been completed to the best of my knowledge.
Be aware that this is only one pin, so the functions will be mutually
exclusive.  The K3 has a 15 pin connector for such things.

Hi Terry,

The KX3 already supports TX inhibit on the ACC2 jack. See the ACC2 IO  
menu entry description. It may be missing from very early owner's  
manual revisions, but you can download the latest one from our web site.
