Not sure why the body wasn't posted, so trying this message again:
I use the KX3 as a driver for transverters, and I have the power set at around 2.5w in transverter mode; occasionally, the KX3 will suddenly drop in output power to a couple tenths of a watt while in USB. Turning the radio off then on clears it, but of course this is an undesirable 'bug'. Anybody else have this happen, or know of a solution? Perhaps it is an ALC problem? Thanks, Jim ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I also drive a transverter with my KX3 running about 300 milliwatts. No
power problems.
