KX3 transverter offset

Let's try this post again, looks like the text was truncated...
Can't seem to get the XVn OFS function to work...anyone else out there
have it working, or is this an unimplemented feature?

Unimplemented features are not found on the blank back cover of all Elecraft
manuals.

Should have been an extra piece of paper in your manual, David. Was like
that at least when I got mine (#602).

Concerning transverter offset: it *must* be in there latest with the
release of the KX3-2M ... when-ever that will be ...

The latest list of unimplemented features can generally be found in the
errata for the latest version of the manual. This can be downloaded from the
Elecraft website, in the "manuals and downloads" section. Unfortunately, the
transverter offset is not currently listed in the latest errata (it should
be). This particular missing parameter was discussed as recently as last
September-October on the KX3 Yahoo Group.

Of course, the latest features are released in beta versions of the
firmware, and then later in the full production releases. Whether you choose
to run beta firmware is entirely up you, based on your needs. I have always
installed the latest betas, and have never been sorry...

As has been said earlier, I am sure this will be corrected soon, as
development of the internal transverter is proceeding apace, and more people
have been using the KX3 with external transverters. This should help move
this issue higher up the firmware priority list.

It will get implemented, have no fear.
