Will a KXPA100 work with a K2/10? I'm looking for a
more-than-10W-capability for a possible county expedition in the 7QP, and maybe elsewhere. I sold my KPA100 [in the lid] amp because I got tired of switching between the 100W lid and QRP lid [and turned a trace into a fuse when I cross connected the 12V and Aux RF plugs]. 73, Fred K6DGW - Northern California Contest Club - CU in the 50th Running of the Cal QSO Party 3-4 Oct 2015 - www.cqp.org ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to [hidden email] |

Yes, it works very well, especially with the KXAT100 equipped. If your K2/10 doesn’t already have a key out line, you may need to add one, eg.

Kxpa100 not only works with kx3 but also other non-elecraft radios, hence no problem with k2. If u don't need 100w, Hardrock hr50+internal atu will be a good choice at much lower price.
