Howdy Gang:
I downloaded KX3 MCU 1.48 a few days ago without problem...all seemed fine. Today, I tried to set the TIME on my KX3 as I had done many times before but after entering TIME in the menu and tapping the PRE button to set the HOURS instead of flashing the display remained steady....I couldn't set the HOURS or MINS/SECS. I wonder if this is unique to my KX3 now or is it a bug or more probably a problem between my ears?? Any info most welcomed. 73, Joe W2KJ I QRP, therefore I am ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[hidden email] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html |

I just tested this and had no problem. You may have done a hold rather than a tap of the 1/2/3 (PRE/ATTN/APF) switch.

Joe:
Does the KX3 Utility Configuration tab "Set Time" function work for you with this new revision? I just used it successfully. 73 de Dick, K6KR -----Original Message----- From: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] On Behalf Of Joseph Trombino, Jr Sent: Thursday, May 23, 2013 7:39 AM To: [hidden email] Subject: [Elecraft] MCU 1.48 KX3 Howdy Gang: I downloaded KX3 MCU 1.48 a few days ago without problem...all seemed fine. Problem solved...not sure why but hey, it's working now.
I powered up and down several times trying to set the TIME on the KX3 and the fifth time was a charm...TIME set FB...no problem. You just gotta love this digital stuff (grin). 73, Joe W2KJ I QRP, therefore I am. Hello Joe: I also have 1.48 and no problem changing the time. You may want to try using the KX3 Utility to set the time; can do that in configuration mode. I also like option of reverting to previous software load and then re-loading the new software. Just a thought from a novice. 73. Ron
