Microphone Amp. Part

k7hbg @dslextreme.com
In reference to the Mic amp. featured on the Elecraft site in the builders
resources, does anyone know what kind of cap. c3 is? 4.7uF film is kind of
large to be fitting in my MH2

I would use an electrolytic and tantalum; both are small and polarized.
The plus should be up or away from ground.

A small electrolytic is appropriate there. There's only about 1 volt at that
point in the circuit. The Plus lead to the mic side of R4.
