N0SS' Ham Radio-related files moved to N0SS.NET

Tom Hammond-3
Hi Folks:

For those few who might be interested, please note that ALL of my Amateur
Radio-related files (from both http://home/earthlink.net/~n0ss and from
http://www.qsl.net/n0ss) have been MOVED to:

    http://www.n0ss.net

This new site allows me much more server space AND you can download files
at a much higher rate as well.

If you have either of my old web sites committed to FAVORITES, please
remove them and add this new link.

If you visit my new site and find ANYTHING missing or in error, please
report it to me a.s.a.p. I've tried to ensure that everything is up to
snuff, but (as usual) I've probably missed something. Won't find it until
you tell me about it. <G>

If you happen to be looking for my XYL Jeri's on-line cookbook, it's still
at http://home/earthlink.net/~n0ss, at the bottom of the page.

73,

Tom Hammond    N0SS

I'm trying to download "Noise Source for aligning IF filters. PC board
layout, schematic & spectrum analysis" and I get a 404 Error.

Re: N0SS' Ham Radio-related files moved to N0SS.NET

Don Brown-4
Hi

I still have a few noise generator circuit boards left. This is almost the same circuit as Tom's and was the noise generator I sold  as a kit a while back. I would recommend the the Elecraft N-Gen kit now but if you want one of my boards the board is $10 with instructions. You will need to find the parts as I am no longer kitting this circuit. The board needs 3 transistors 2n3904 or 2n2222 5 resistors and 4 capacitors. You will also need a 9 volt battery, switch BNC connector and a box. It will fit into an Altoids box. Again this is only the circuit board and instruction sheet. The circuit board is FR4 fiberglass silk screened and solder masked. I have eight left. If you want one send a self addressed stamped envelope (2 stamps) and $10 cash, check or money order to

Hi Leigh:

>The img link to your email address at the bottom is broken.
>Perhaps that's on purpose...

Yeah... it's on purpose.  Folks can SEE the address, but the spammers can't
just come in and steal it because it's an image, not text.

My boards aren't double-sided either... I've made double-sided before, but,
for a kitchen-made PC board, they're generally a LOT more hassle than
they're worth. But, thanks to an idea from a local, I now have a method by
which making them (the two negatives) line up is a LOT easier. I'll share
it with anyone who might be interested.

Yes, I do offer boards for almost all of my projects. Boards for the KR5L
Zero Beat LED Indicator are $5 ppd to your door. And I now also offer a
similar board, with circuit design by Bob Wolbert (K6XX)

      http://www.qsl.net/k6xx/ikanrite.htm#vizicw

which uses an Exar XR-2211 chip instead of the PLL. I'm told that this
design does a better job of 'following' the CW as it's received... also $5
ppd.

I can supply a PDF of either of these projects before you buy/build them.
