Phil,
I have been using N4PY software with my K2 for some time now, and it works verywell. The same versions that work with the Jupiter will work with the K2, just select which radio you want, and the is no additional fee. You will not have audio or RF gain on the GUI, but everything else works great. Carl also allows several user customized buttons that you can program for what ever you want. I have used Carl's program with my Jupiter using the K2 as an second receiver with good results.
